1. Notice & Takedown Policy
Download It is a metadata search and discovery engine. We do not host copyrighted content; we provide an index of information and hyperlinks to third-party providers. We respect the intellectual property of others and strictly follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) for processing copyright infringement notifications.
2. Non-Hosting & Third Parties
Download It does not host, store, or distribute any media files, software binaries, or copyrighted assets on its servers. Our service indexes metadata provided by community databases (IGDB) and public links available on the open web.
Because the actual content is hosted on external servers beyond our control, a link removal from our site does not remove the content from the source. To permanently remove infringing material, you must contact the responsible host directly.
3. Notification Procedure
To report a copyright infringement, please send a written notification to our designated agent. Your notice must include:
- 01A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
- 02Specific identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- 03The exact URL or Game ID on Download It where the infringing material is referenced.
- 04Full contact information: Name, address, phone number, and email address.
- 05A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized.
- 06A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate.
Misrepresenting that material is infringing may subject you to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our agent. This must include your signature, identification of the material removed, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Download It has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users or accounts who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We also reserve the right to block specific data providers or sources that consistently violate intellectual property rights.
